The city pulses with an energy that could only belong to Boston. You’ll find the Massachusetts’ capital successfully combines big-city amenities with a friendly, small-town atmosphere. From the Red Sox and Celtics, to the Charles River, Boston is an all-American blend of revolutionary and reserved with classic colonial and cool.

Even if you don't care for beans, you're going to love Beantown.

Hotel
Forecasting Summit 2008 will be held at The Seaport Hotel, located on the spectacular Boston Waterfront. Several points of interest in the Seaport District are within short walking distance, including the Children’s Museum, Boston Tea Party Ship and Museum and the Spirit of Boston cruises. Historic Fanueil Hall—offering shopping, dining and entertainment—is just a short cab ride away or can be reached in ten minutes by foot.

Transportation
The conference hotel is easily accessible from Logan International Airport via a short taxi ride. A car rental is not recommended unless you plan to extend your stay and visit sites outside the city.

Public transportation is available on the MBTA Silver Line Waterfront (SL1) which provides service from Logan terminals to the World Trade Center Station (a 7 minute walk from the hotel). Buses run every 10 minutes on weekdays and every 15 minutes during the weekend. Please visit the MBTA website for more detailed information.

If you are extending your stay and would like to rent a car, we have secured discounted car rental rates with Hertz.
